Whip up a big ol’ vegetarian bowl of satiating and health-inducing goodness with a simple sweet potato and savoy cabbage hash.

This dish epitomises simple yet effective cooking. Containing minimal ingredients that can be thrown together with minimal effort whilst remaining both waistline and wallet friendly. Savoy cabbage is at its very best around February in the UK but is usually available year-round; substitute for kale or any other leafy green for an equally satisfying plate.
I’ve modified my version to compliment a cutting phase for a short-ass female so for those bulking or requiring more calories add extra sweet potato and eggs to suit your needs. I use 1-cal spray to help maintain a calorie deficit, but you could use coconut oil for a healthy dose of MCTs. Using liquid aminos is always my go-to in place of soy sauce to save on copious amounts of sodium but soy sauce will do the trick just fine. The beauty of this throw together meal is its versatility; try with potatoes or butternut squash in place of sweet potatoes, sub in red onions… the possibilities are endless.
